Planning

ProLink's Planning process is rooted in periodic evaluation of the status quo in the belief that a constantly evolving world is a catalyst for renewal and continuious improvement. Planning is the initial step of the ProLink IMPACTS™ process, and is the foundation for developing a winning strategy; the process by which all available data is utilized to develop the organization's strategic plan, implementation roadmap and key performance indicators.

An effective plan is timely, data driven and fact-based. It has relevant information, including the market, competitors, customers, employees and suppliers.  Overall business success depends on the collective success of each function, therefore, the plan needs to be holistic and integrated and have the support of the impacted groups and/or individuals. In order to gain organizational buy-in, the plan must be inclusive and it needs to foster participation, dialogue and debate. It also needs to include a clear timeline, milestones with assigned ownerships and accountabilities.

In today’s dynamic and competitive environment, a well articulated and clearly understood plan generates a sense of purpose that excites and expands the organization’s collective energy to deploy resources on the most important and game changing objectives. Rationalized and scrutinized plans can be organization's conscious which validates the soundness of decisions and confirms the organization’s commitment to the right direction (Doing The Right Things).

IMPACTS™ planning uses an iterative, collaborative and cascading process ( “W”) that allows direct input and the opportunity to negotiate at every level of the organization regardless of the size and complexity.
